We just completed two series of medical seminar videos for a DVD series. Our client is IAME, an excellent company that provides training and certification through seminars they conduct throughout the country. They have a faculty of doctors, experts in their specialties who share their knowledge with attendees.
To give you a little more, since 1992 the Institute for Advanced Medical Education (IAME) http://www.iame.com has been a leading provider of continuing medical education, providing practice-changing experiences for physicians, nurses, technologists and other health care professionals. IAME is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.
These seminars are one of a kind events and it is critical that there be no mistakes or lost footage. For this type of project we record both the speakers presenting on camera and also their PowerPoint presentations directly to hard drive. There is a great deal of mouse activity pointing to sections of the slides and this activity must be captured. For both the speakers and the PPT, we record to two recorders for each. Additionally we use a security camera pointed at the screen so that as a last resort we can duplicate mouse movements by using the actual PPT slides. This type of project is a specialty that our company, Aardvark Video has developed to a high level. Contact me if you would like to learn more about the process
