Aardvark Video produced a Live Stream at the LVCVA last week for the Federal Commerce Subcommittee on Tourism, Trade, and Export Promotion Field Hearing chaired by Senator Jacky Rosen using Avmatrix PTZ cameras and controller.
The witness panelists were community leaders including:
-Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President MGM Resorts International
-Ms. Mary Beth Sewald, President & CEO for the Vegas Chamber
-Ms. Sandra Douglass Morgan, President, Las Vegas Raiders
-Mr. Steve Hill, CEO & President for the LVCVA
The hearing was live-streamed to a wide audience through US Senate facilities as well as presented to a live audience.
The cooperation and coordination by LVCVA staff, the department of Commerce in the Senate, and Senator Rosen’s staff was excellent and led to the success of the project.
The Avmatrix equipment working with vMix functioned flawlessly and we recommend this equipment to any live-streamer. We’ve compared it to similar PTZ Optics and BirdDog equipment in a real world setting and can’t find any difference. One of many features we like is that the tactile control of camera movement is very smooth, not unlike what we find with Panasonic controllers.
