FAA Updates Drone Rules – Finally We Can Fly Legally

The FAA has released new UAV drone rules that allow for legal drone flying:

The FAA has finally come up with a legal solution that allows for the commercial use of UAV’s (drones) that weigh less than 55 pounds. Among other very important changes, this removes the need to have a pilot’s license to legally fly.

Although we applied for and received an FAA Section 333 exemption we were still reluctant to offer aerial video services up until now because of the liability ramifications. We’re extremely excited to finally be able to offer drone video services without worrying about strict FAA regulations.
