We recently traveled to Vail, Colorado to record three days of continuing medical education (CME) seminars. This is a project we’ve done for this client many times where we record the presenters and the presentations and merge them together during subsequent post-production editing. They are ultimately delivered as a DVD set with plans for pay-for-view and subscription online viewing in the future.
The weather was cold, under 10 degrees but because we were inside all the time it could have been anywhere. We were housed in a condo that had a view of the slopes. This was a beautiful facility with two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and three bathrooms provided by our client that made the stay very comfortable. Vail is an interesting area with everything along the main highway strip and convenient to get to by car. If we had to walk to the grocery store, I could see getting frostbite. CME is one of our specialties, we will be traveling to Philly later this month to do more and we have plans to expand this capability even further in the future.
