In December, Aardvark Video was hired to record testimonials from doctors who use the Claimocity application. The video’s planned use is for website and Social Media Marketing. As everyone knows, people expect to see videos on a website: they want to see, not read about a product or service.
The Claimocity software is a “Mobile Ai-Powered Tool” designed for Hospitalists – doctors who practice in hospitals, nursing homes, and other similar facilities. With this all-in-one app, doctors are able to bill visits, document encounters, and submit progress notes using fast easy proprietary workflows in a third of the time right from the app – “Giving More Bed Side, Less Desk Side – Smart Solutions that Make a Practical Difference”
Why Use Video to Market

What We Did
For Aardvark Video, it involved a three-camera shoot of 4 physicians at a state-of-the-art surgery center in Las Vegas where they gave descriptions of their experiences with the software.
This was an 8-hour process recorded with two BMPCC6ks, a Panasonic 4k camera, plus a smaller gimbal camera to record B-Roll of the facility.
Sometimes people believe that you just show up and start recording. That is far from the truth. It first involves a prior location scouting of the facility which is used to broadly decide on shooting spots and a test of the lighting, plus any other location prep we ask the facility to do. Next, in our studio, we decide on the equipment that is to be used and then assembled and tested. Next, the equipment is disassembled, packed, and loaded into a vehicle. When we get to the venue, it needs to be brought in and then assembled and tested. Once there, the people that need to be recorded are first coached and prepared. Only after all this, can you start shooting.
As with most remote locations, there was lighting that needed to be properly balanced in order to get the perfect image. The surgery center had ceiling fixtures that didn’t provide color that was easily matched. We had to do numerous tests and adjust our LED fixtures to provide the best match that was possible. Because we recorded in “Raw”, a setting that facilitates color grading and matching during editing, we were able to get great vibrant results.
